Responsibilities
Event Management
Provide leadership and oversight of College of Business (COB) events team. Strategically manages campus-based COB events assigned by the Dean and Director of Strategic Engagement, including but not limited to : galas, receptions, seminars, meetings, conferences, lectures, symposia, outreach programs, fundraising events. Coordinate closely with business development and executive education, department chairs, school, and center directors to ensure alignment with college goals and objectives.
Facility Operations
Manage all reservations for COB facilities and spaces, ensuring efficient use and minimizing scheduling conflicts. Coordinate or delegate space management for college partners including but not limited to : Business Career Services, Student Engagement, Academic Advising, the Sales Institute, centers, and institutes. Ensure facilities and spaces are utilized effectively in alignment with the college’s mission and that faculty, staff, students, and visitors receive streamlined, high-quality service.
Relationship Management
Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and other campus units or sub-contractors. Collaborate with college personnel on events and facility operations as appropriate. Establish and manage contractual agreements with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to an administrative service; or a high school diploma / equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note : a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
