This role is a Contract to Hire role, located in Newtown, PA.
Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain & Operations Logistics Operations, the Supply Chain Materials Planner will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and cost optimization across freight, excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory, and warehouse operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to strategic sourcing and logistics initiatives.

Education
Experience
Technical Knowledge
Proficiency in systems like Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Epicor for inventory and procurement planning
Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Power BI, and Salesforce for reporting and demand planning
Understanding of MRP, BOM structures, SKU-level planning, and lifecycle management
Familiarity with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) or similar integrated planning processes, aligning demand, supply, and inventory planning to support business objectives.
Skills
Ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with planning, finance, and warehouse teams.
Proactive in identifying root causes of inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies is advantageous.
