Responsibilities Position is based in an emergency department setting at a hospital Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Every other weekend required Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed Patients include a diverse emergency and trauma population EMR system used is Cerner Responsible for delivering acute emergency care to a varied patient population First time travelers are welcome to apply Pre-assignment modules must be completed before start Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment Dress code and scrub requirements will be discussed during onboarding Up to 5 days of non-holiday time off may be auto-approved; longer requests require facility approval Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license in hand prior to start; temporary licenses may be accepted with proof of application for permanent license Minimum of 18 months ER experience required; at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is mandatory Current certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (AHA and RQI accepted) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Must not be a current IN resident (locals not accepted for ER positions) Must have been away from any perm or PRN employment with IU for at least 12 months before consideration Must be willing and able to float to sister facilities as staffing needs arise Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626200.
