Key Responsibilities
Lead contract negotiations with customers from initial discussions through final execution.
Review and revise contract terms and conditions to align with company standards and risk tolerance.
Partner with internal business teams throughout the negotiation process to resolve issues and gain approvals.
Collaborate with the Legal Department on complex or escalated contract matters.
Secure business approval for exceptions and unresolved contract concerns.
Confirm credit approval for contracts exceeding $100,000.
Execute and return signed contracts up to $1 million.
Maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce, including insurance certificates, bonds, and other documentation.
Coordinate the issuance of payment, performance, and supply bonds as required.
Request and review insurance certificates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Conduct semi-annual reviews of bonds to assess job completion status.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.
Required Skills & Experience
Three years of contract review experience including two years of contract negotiation experience.
Experience in analysis and review of construction-related contracts.
Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions and risk minimization / avoidance.
Understanding of insurance requirements and bonds.
Experience working within the manufacturing and construction industry.
Collaboration with Sales teams on contracting activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, and Microsoft Office for redlining and review.
5+ years of experience required.
Strong skills in in-depth analysis, decision making, written and oral communication, organization, multitasking, and customer service.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00 / hr.
