Our client, a growing and dynamic organization based in Woodstock, Georgia, is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who understands compliance, payroll, and employee programs, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating closely with leadership to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee-centered HR processes. This role will be on Innovative Outsourcing’s payroll.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all wage and hour laws during the conversion of approximately 34 employees from exempt to non-exempt status.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including mileage, commissions, and bonuses.
- Coordinate 401(k) administration, maintaining accurate sync between the payroll system and plan provider.
- Manage full-cycle onboarding and exit processes.
- Maintain a centralized repository for all employee-related documentation (performance, personal, and access records).
- Collect, create, and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
- Follow up with candidates who apply through the company website.
- Update systems to streamline role definitions and maintain the company org chart.
- Create and maintain Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) forms and related documentation.
- Coordinate the annual performance review process, including communications, timelines, and leader training.
- Draft and update HR policies, including the PTO policy and Employee Handbook.
- Manage FMLA, DOL requests, and EEO reporting as needed.
- Coordinate employee surveys and assist with Employee Advocate meetings (notes, tracking, and follow-up).
- Support the employee incentive program.
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and coverage reviews.
- Support annual benefits enrollment and coordinate with the payroll provider.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
4+ years of experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.College degree or relevant work experience; SHRM certifications a plus but not required.Strong knowledge of payroll, compliance, and employee documentation practices.Experience drafting policies, managing HR systems, and coordinating employee programs.Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.Pay : $30–$35 per hour
Schedule : Part-time, flexible hours within standard business hours (Monday–Friday) Hybrid schedule available after training
