In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To
Organize, perform and track on time preventative maintenance of facilities / auxiliary equipment utilizing CMMS maintenance software through generated work ordersConsult with other Maintenance, Engineering and Manufacturing employees to identify and resolve all maintenance issues in a timely mannerConvert service reports to work order and complete repairs documenting work performedIdentify and troubleshoot processes, material or equipment problems to minimize downtimeProvide process / product support to the organization to address production concernsPerform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and equipment installationsPerform tooling set-up / changeovers in a timely manner according to scheduleEnsure that maintenance coverage for production areas is provided for at all timesSets up and operate all types of machine tools such as mill, lathe, grinders, drill presses and other machine shop tools to duplicate, make or rework partsProactively participate in Kaizen events and creating a continuous improvement cultureOvertime and weekend work frequently requiredWhat You Need to Succeed in This Position
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Advanced certification level training or associates degree preferred3-5 years of experience supporting machine maintenance / repair in a manufacturing environmentGeneral skills and expertise related to maintenance activitiesProficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office SuiteGreat mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problemsProficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsPositive teamwork and attitude required to support the manufacturing environmentBasic knowledge of electrical safetyMaintain Inventory records for equipment and suppliesMaintain a 5S environment in work area and Tool ShopFollow lock out tag out procedures and all other safety rulesMaintain and displays strong attendance habits by being present and on timePhysical Requirements
