What will I work on?

• Keeping people safe by following every safety rule and procedure.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical / mechanical issues on pumps, motors, gearboxes, plastic extruders, and other production equipment.
• Maintaining robots and robot cells, including associated equipment.
• Performing PMs and closing work orders in our CMMS.
• Coaching entry-level teammates while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Using meters and other electrical test gear to diagnose circuit and equipment problems.
• Sizing / installing conduit, conductors, breakers, fuses, starters, motors, etc., per the National Electrical Code.
• Calibrating and documenting instrumentation, scales, and balances.
• Building / wiring control cabinets from drawings and schematics.
• Troubleshooting AC / DC motors and variable frequency drives.
• Understanding PLC operation and troubleshooting via ladder logic.
• Reading and applying electrical schematics, manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts; using shop equipment and hand tools.
• Planning / organizing work, meeting timelines, and maintaining excellent housekeeping.
• Occasionally driving a company vehicle / truck (valid driver’s license required).
• Pitching in with other related duties as needed.

How is the role compensated?

$25.00 – $41.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $4 off-shift premium.
