The Opportunity : Founding Deal Desk Manager
As our Deal Desk Lead, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our revenue operations by managing deals and developing standardized processes that balance speed with control. You'll work at the intersection of Finance, Sales, and Legal teams to ensure our products reach customers and fuel Eve Legal's rapid growth. As a close partner to our Sales team, you'll design systems that dramatically accelerate our deal making processes. You'll have the opportunity to build AI-powered, scalable processes from the ground up and directly impact our most strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own Eve Legal's deal-making execution processes, ensuring all commercial workflows can seamlessly navigate internal processes
- Lead commercial projects that ensure our sales processes provide an exceptional experience for customers to scale with Eve Legal, while staying compliant with finance
- Build AI-native tooling with internal teams to meaningfully scale our commercial processes
- Optimize operational workflows that reduce friction in the sales cycle and accelerate time to close for financials
- Act as the bridge between Sales and Finance, maintaining contract and compliance management systems and ensuring agreement terms align with company standards
- Maintain visibility on high-priority deals, providing appropriate escalation paths when commercial terms require executive input
- Collaborate with Legal teams to validate that agreements reflect the correct commercial intent and approvals
- Track and analyze deal patterns to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven improvements to our sales operations
What You'll Bring
10+ years of total work experience, with 4+ years of experience in deal desk, sales strategy, commercial operations, or related roles, preferably in a high-growth technology environmentTrack record of taking messy, undefined processes and turning them into repeatable, scalable systemsStrong desire and experience building automated workflows to scale operationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across departmentsStrong project management skills with experience juggling multiple critical initiativesBias toward action and comfort operating in ambiguityExperience with CRM systems, CPQ tools, and contract management platformsCollaborative mindset and enjoy solving problems through cross-functional partnershipPreferred Qualifications
Experience at a high growth SaaS, cloud, or AI / ML companyExperience with deal operations at companies with subscription and / or consumption-based business modelsKnowledge of enterprise software contract terms and industry-standard commercial practicesUnderstanding of AI business models and the unique commercial considerationsBenefits
