Administrative Assistant - Line Operations
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the department head by performing administrative and clerical work. Will also be responsible for maintaining records critical to documenting PVSC's compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft software, the ability to learn specific computer software associated with PVSC systems, and proficient typing skills are necessary. Must be able to organize and manage work time to accomplish all assigned tasks. The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work well under pressure, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times is required.
Experience and Education : Five (5) years of full-time experience as an administrative assistant for an executive or administrative officer in a private or public organization. Completion of a two (2) year program in secretarial science at an accredited college may be substituted for two (2) years of work experience.
Physical Demands : Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation to ensure the health and safety of oneself and others are maintained. To perform the essential functions of this position, the employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, climb, kneel, squat, reach, lift up to 25lbs, carry, push and pull. Must have manual dexterity and the ability to use a keyboard.
Working Conditions : Workers are employed in conditions associated with a wastewater treatment plant and sewer collection system.
The expected base pay range is $44,881 to $93,519. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, education, training, and formal credentials.
