    • Health Portal Solutions
    • develops web-based applications specifically designed for Health Insurance Administrators. Our platform integrates data from different benefit information systems so that the Insurer and its stakeholders can log into one portal to access reports, healthcare claims, prescriptions, health plan enrollments, ID cards, Provider network information, and other health plan tools.

    • The

    • Business Analyst / Technical Support Representative
    • is the company liaison between HPS clients and the HPS Web Portal (the Application) providing support to staff members in the use and management of the HPS Application.
    • The

    • Business Analyst / Technical Support Representative
    • position provides technical support to clients by telephone and email, answering questions on functionality and usage of the HPS products.
    • Responsibilities :
    • Develop strong working relationship with clients and coordinate work statements and modifications between in-house programmers, developers and clients.
    • Manage new business implementations and enhancements.
    • Coordinate vendor relationships and assist Sales and Marketing Department.
    • Provide full product demos to potential HPS clients as needed.
    • Review, test and document enhancements to the Application.
    • Prepare work statements and conduct implementation and training sessions.
    • Publish training and operational documents for the Application.
    • Answer, log, and track internal and external client calls and emails.
    • Research and resolve technical problems, and provide solutions to clients.
    • Track and monitor support issues to ensure a timely resolution.
    • The ideal candidate will learn our products, assist in the development of documentation, conduct training, and do application testing.
    • Resolves clients’ application questions or problems over the telephone and via email in the areas of system configuration / setup as it relates to the HPS product
    • Research and report possible bugs / enhancements to include appropriate referral to other service areas, follow-up, testing and troubleshooting.
    • Participate in internal projects as required by management. This includes projects such as internal applications support, interdepartmental communications, etc.
    • Administrative services such as updating spreadsheets, data entry, providing daily updates of activities, and attending weekly team calls
    • Develop strong working relationship with clients and coordinate work statements and modifications between in-house programmers, developers and clients.
    • Qualifications :

    • Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent.
    • Work experience related to the job summary and responsibilities.
    • Prior technical support / IT experience in a technical environment a plus.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Proficient PC skills with expert knowledge of various software applications used in a business environment (MS Office, Internet, Exchange / Outlook, etc.).
    • Additional Skills :
    • Ability to quickly become familiar with and maintain existing applications.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Experience generating and maintaining technical documentation.
    • Ability to independently document, write, and test programs.
    • Ability to produce finished applications under deadline.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

      Pay : $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
