American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Crescent City, California.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a current CA license and advanced certifications for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 18 : 30-07 : 00
  • Every other weekend is required
  • Patients present with a variety of emergency medical conditions
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Must participate in online modules during orientation, with time spent varying by specialty
  • Only one holiday requested off will be approved during the contract
  • Locals are accepted at a lower rate
  • Position requires providing urgent and acute care to a diverse patient population

    • Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Minimum of 5 years' Emergency Department RN experience required by manager
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA and in hand at time of consideration)
  • Completion of lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing required
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be considered as a traveler
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
