Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This position is based in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and oversee the general ledger to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records.
• Utilize Intacct or Sage Intacct software for financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting principles.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.
