Content & Social Director
Our design firm client is seeking a content & social director to join their team. The client’s portfolio includes a design studio, an online retail shop, and a product development and manufacturing division. In this role, you will lead the brand’s storytelling, content ecosystem, and social presence across all digital touchpoints. This hands‑on position blends creative direction, social strategy, content development, and community growth to strengthen brand visibility and deepen audience engagement.
Base Pay Range
$100,000 – $125,000 annually, with a 20% year‑end performance bonus opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social‑first content strategies that drive organic growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Craft compelling narratives, content pillars, and channel‑specific storytelling that reflect the company’s values, aesthetics, and educational mission.
- Oversee all creative output—including copywriting, short‑form video, photo / video shoots, and content editing—to ensure a cohesive, on‑brand voice and visual identity.
- Mentor and manage a small, agile team of content creators and coordinators, fostering creativity and delivering high‑quality digital content.
- Build and maintain authentic partnerships with creators, educators, influencers, and brand ambassadors to expand reach and social community impact.
- Use analytics and platform insights to evaluate performance, optimize content direction, and report regularly on key social and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate closely with product development, design, ecommerce / shop, and paid media teams to ensure aligned messaging and seamless multi‑channel storytelling.
Requirements
7–10 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing.Demonstrated success growing organic social channels and leading creative or content‑focused teams.Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.Expertise in short‑form video, content production workflows, and visual storytelling.Strong analytical skills with experience applying data to inform content decisions.Experience with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and community engagement strategies.Proficiency in tools such as Meta Suite, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Klaviyo, Shopify, and Pinterest.Highly organized, adaptable, and collaborative, with a passion for family‑centered learning and design.Seniority Level
