About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead fundraising and community health initiatives in the Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of fundraising and community health staff, achieving annual revenue goals, and developing strategies to enhance the region's health impact. This role involves working closely with corporate executives to foster key partnerships and serving as the staff lead for the advisory Board of Directors. The Executive Director will also be tasked with creating a culture of health in the community, supporting mission and revenue initiatives, and developing a business plan for market growth.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years' in non-profit fundraising, executive volunteer management, corporate sales, or a related field. A proven track record of exceeding fundraising goals, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build partnerships with corporate leaders are essential. The role requires experience in community or public health issues, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the willingness to work outside standard hours and travel as needed. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating corporate cultures and be committed to the mission of the organization, which is dedicated to improving cardiovascular and brain health in the community.
