Position description

The Department of Sociology at the University of California, Davis, offers temporary Lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses during the 2024-2025 academic year.

These positions are dependent upon the instructional needs of the department and may be full- or part-time.

APPOINTMENT DATES : Assignments vary according to type of course and percentage of appointment. Service periods are :

Fall Quarter 2024 September 23 - December 13

Winter Quarter 2025 January 3 - March 21

Spring Quarter 2025 March 27 - June 12

QUALIFICATIONS : Demonstrated experience in teaching at the college level, and advanced degree in Sociology or related discipline is required.

SALARY : This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement (Unit 18). The annual salary rate for this position is $66,259.
