Adjunct Faculty - School of Optometry : Pediatrics

Job Description

The MCPHS School of Optometry seeks an adjunct faculty member to deliver high-quality learning experiences and education for students in The Eye and Vision Center. The selected candidate will have responsibilities in clinical precepting in pediatrics at The Eye and Vision Center and / or our affiliated community health centers, supervising optometry student interns.

• Work with and teach 3rd and 4th year optometry students effective, evidence-based methods of pediatric patient care based on the MCPHS School of Optometry clinical curriculum.
• Teach 3rd and 4th year students evidence-based methods to treat and manage patients, including those with secondary binocular vision conditions from traumatic brain injuries.
• Objectively grade optometry students based on their clinical knowledge, skills, and patient management.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
