California Licensed Payroll Tax Director

A company is looking for a Director of Payroll Tax Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Leads and develops a team of Payroll Tax professionals, ensuring operational excellence

Monitors compliance requirements and manages payroll tax filings and reporting for U.S. and Canadian authorities

Acts as the liaison with regulatory agencies, overseeing audits and changes in tax filing requirements

Required Qualifications

10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in payroll tax compliance and management

Experience with complex payroll systems and knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll tax laws

Familiarity with large enterprise financial systems, preferably Oracle Financials

Experience in a high-volume, deadline-oriented, and fast-paced environment

Entertainment production experience is preferred
