Position Summary Description :

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical System Architect’s primary responsibility is designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions that enhance our financial, operational, and analytical capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). In this position, you will play a key role by helping to improve our existing implementation of D365 F&O and the Power Platform to drive supply chain operational efficiency and automate internal processes. This position will work as part of a Financial Applications Management Team comprised of Developers, Analyst, and Data Administrators. This is an onsite position with possible travel to company locations within the US.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical System Architect will also be responsible for working with the team to provide support for the system configuration, upgrade, change management, monitoring, auditing and integrations for Select Water Solutions’ Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations system and components.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field. Preferred experience in warehousing, supply chain, and food distribution.

• 5+ years of experience supporting and configuring D365 Finance and Operations
• 5+ years of experience developing customizations in X++ and C#,
• Experience with Microsoft ASP .Net, .NET Core & Web Development
• Experience with maintaining custom code in Azure DevOps
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Rest API connections.
• Agile development experience and knowledge of leveraging Azure DevOps (Git Repo / Pipeline) as a DEV repository
• Experience with Data verse customizations (tables, views, actions and virtual entities)
• Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Knowledge of RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Testing)
• Knowledge of Power platform (Power Bi, Power Automate and PowerApps) and F&O integration.
• Experience working with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, App Service, Service Bus).
• Knowledge of best practices in D365 F&O development.

Design and develop custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to meet business requirements using X++ and C#. 2. Customize D365 F&O modules, forms, actions, and workflows to align with business processes. 3. Lead the internal team and external vendors / developers to understand existing customizations. 4. Coordinate migration of customizations from dev to QA to sandbox to prod environment. 5. Provide production support for Dynamics 365 F&O and LCS. 6. Track environment telemetry to ensure optimum performance. 7. Expert in using LCS to deploy any new customization or configurations in other environments. Other Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Lead weekly scheduled SRUM meetings for managing sprints. 2. Keep the system up to date with D365 F&O updates. 3. Mentor and train internal development team. 4. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and development processes. 5. Implement best practices and improve the ongoing maintenance process. 6. Review and sign-off on all code during the SDLC. 7. Use the Company’s Mission / Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
