Job Title : Structural Engineer – Tyndall AFB

Location : Panama City, FL

Base Pay Range : $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per hour (salary based on experience and discussion with manager).

Responsibilities :

• Provide professional structural engineering and construction management support, serving as a general engineer and providing technical leadership and guidance for contractor-executed construction projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on national standards and practices for structural engineering designs, foundation analysis for horizontal and vertical construction, including facility material selection and approval for buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and structures.
• Participate in design reviews and provide comments on contractor-submitted structural engineering designs and plans.
• Provide quality assurance oversight, documentation of such oversight, and recommend corrective actions to ensure high quality performance on contractor projects.
• Provide safety oversight, documentation of such oversight, and direct corrective actions to ensure worker and public safety.
• Assist in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor structural engineering requirements and deliverables; document and provide reports regarding contractor progress.
• Recommend authorization of progress payments based on observed contract progress.
