Job descriptionRespond to customer inquiries over the phone and provide timely assistance Lead installations and tests and offer operational guidance to customer technicians and operators Use diagnostic tools to identify technical malfunctions and challenges accurately Repair faulty or damaged mechanical components and manage the ordering process for necessary replacements Advocate for the companys technical services emphasizing their benefits to clients Ability to work independently at customer sites showcasing adaptability and self-reliance Effective time management skills for travel and on-site technical service Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules and shifts Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues based on technical descriptions provided by customers
Field Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician with expertise in both electrical / electronic and mechanical systems. We are also open to training the right candidate who has a basic understanding of these areas. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications :
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical / electronic ladder diagrams
- Ability to read mechanical ANSI / ISO prints
- Experience with PLC / HMI programming
- Willingness to travel to various locations including local out-of-state and Canadian sites
- Exceptional customer service communication and self-management skills
