Housing Maintenance Worker

The Housing Maintenance Worker supports the operation of housing on-campus. This position supports the maintenance and custodial teams in the Oregon Tech Housing facilities. This position involves assisting with daily maintenance issues and maintenance related projects as well as custodial duties.

Minimum Requirements :

• Experience with basic plumbing such as renewing washers and valves, cleaning and opening drains and other water lines, etc.
• Experience with basic carpentry such as installing shelves, doors, handrails; preparing building materials; basic carpentry repairs, etc.
• Experience with basic electrical repairs / maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, checking circuit breakers, etc.
• Experience with basic interior and exterior painting in residential and commercial facilities.
• Experience using power tools such as drills, saws, carpet machines, buffing machines, snow blower, etc.
• Experience using personal protective equipment, SDS sheets, and established safety procedures.
