Our Family owned and operated Dairy Farm is seeking an experienced diesel engine mechanic. Experience with diesel engines is REQUIRED.

Candidate must be honest, hardworking, and dependable AND must provide a minimum of 2 references for consideration.

• Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Assemble and disassemble engine components for repair or replacement.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary for repairs.
• Conduct inspections of air brake systems and other critical components.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety standards.
• Adhere to OEM specifications during repairs to ensure quality workmanship.
• Skills
• Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to diesel mechanics.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment repair tasks.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including Caterpillar, John Deere and Fendt machinery.
• Knowledge of air brake systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all repair tasks.
• A commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
