A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders
Facilitate group and individual sessions to promote recovery and wellness
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
Personal experience in recovery from substance use disorder
Certification or training in peer support or related field
Understanding of addiction and recovery processes
Ability to engage and motivate individuals in recovery
Experience working in a healthcare or social services environment
