We're looking for an experienced Jewelry Sales Consultant to join our full-time team in Newtown. What You'll Do as a Jewelry Sales Consultant :
Welcome customers and make them feel at home-whether they're longtime shoppers or first-timers.
Use your knowledge to help customers find the right piece, taking into account their taste, needs, and budget.
Show off our jewelry-diamonds, engagement rings, and more-explaining what makes each piece special.
Guide customers through custom jewelry orders, working with our in-house designers to make their vision a reality.
Answer questions, resolve concerns, and make sure every customer walks away satisfied and informed.
Process sales accurately and efficiently, following company guidelines and using our POS system.
Keep the sales floor organized, displays looking sharp, and inventory labeled and stocked.
Stay up to speed on new trends, product launches, and what's happening in the jewelry world, so you can always give the best advice.
Work with your teammates to hit sales goals and keep the workplace positive and collaborative.
Take part in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to keep your skills sharp and stay in the loop on promotions.
Be willing to work weekends and adjust your schedule to meet customer demand and maximize your own success.
What We're Looking For :
Prior sales experience-jewelry or luxury retail is a plus-with a history of meeting or beating your goals.
Strong people skills. You're great at building relationships and making connections that last.
Solid knowledge of jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals, plus an understanding of grading and appraisals - a plus but not required!
Passion for jewelry and design, with a sharp eye for quality and style.
High energy, self-motivation, and a genuinely positive attitude. You thrive in a busy, customer-focused setting.
Problem-solving skills that help you turn challenges into opportunities to impress customers.
Attention to detail, especially when handling transactions and keeping inventory in check.
Team player who helps create a supportive, upbeat work environment.
Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and related software.
Flexible with your schedule-able to work most Saturdays, plus the occasional evening or special event.
