Jones, Savarese, Harrington & Company is a multi-faceted public accounting and tax preparation firm based in St. Our highly professional staff offers a wide range of services designed to enhance the growth, profitability, and overall success of businesses through precise communication and effective problem-solving. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Office Manager at our St. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office. The CPA Office Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain regulatory compliance, supervise staff, and contribute to the overall efficiency and growth of the firm.

Manage all office workflow- responsible for making sure everything leaves the office in a timely fashion and is appropriately documented ex. payroll reports, tax returns, tax notices, etc. including updating and maintaining accurate Office Tools logs.

  • Manage all incoming documents and ensure information is properly recorded and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments for professional staff - avoiding conflicts and monitoring the conference room availability.
  • Typing of any client correspondence from professional staff.
  • Log all mail correspondence- make sure all tax notices and any other correspondence has been properly scanned.

Office

Supervise and coordinate administrative and accounting staff activities.

Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency.

Monitor office budgets, supplies, and resource allocation.

Ensure the office meets all regulatory and operational compliance requirements.

Staff Supervision &

Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance.

Assign workloads and ensure team members meet deadlines and quality standards.

Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service issues.

Minimum 5 years of experience in office administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax deadlines.
