Summary
Over-Dimensional (OD) Permits Coordinator will ensure high quality, safe, and profitable operation of the Flatbed Division through efficient, effective coordination of permitted loads in accordance with state and federal regulations while meeting company and department expectations, procedures, and profit objectives.
Education and Experience
High School education and / or Associate's degree in business or administrative field preferred.
Excellent map reading ability and knowledge of United States geography.
Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills, manages difficult customer situations; responds promptly to internal and external customer needs to meet company commitments.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, listening) to accurately interpret information and gain clarification in a professional manner.
Ability to work flexible shifts as needed to meet company deadlines.
Strong problem solving skills to identify and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
Ability to perform mathematical equations of adding and subtracting and applying that data to answer questions.
Ability to work as a team member and be self-motivated to achieve results.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet required.
Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $20.00 - $24.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and / or company performance.
