IVI RMA has a need for a Float Clinical Assistant to assist in our Northern locations. The homebase for this role would be in Jersey City and would travel to Englewood, West Orange and Springfield. This is a full-time role with hours Monday-Friday from 5 : 30am-1 : 30pm.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities :

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Practice phlebotomy
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance / comfort before, during and after procedures.
