We are seeking an AWS Network Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and managing AWS networking infrastructure, ensuring network performance, implementing security controls, and supporting configuration management and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in AWS cloud networking, infrastructure as code, Linux / Unix administration, and a passion for cloud computing and network architecture.

Job Title : AWS Network Engineer

Location : Parsippany, NJ (On-site)

Duration : 6 months

Pay Rate : $45 - $55 / hr. on W2

Job Description :

Design and manage VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Aviatrix, and Direct Connect Links

Configure and manage AWS networking services including Route53, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, WAF, DDoS, etc.

Implement network security controls including security groups, NACLs, and encryption protocols

Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and availability issues

Perform system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains

Conduct security patching and remediation of vulnerabilities

Monitor and review server logs, proactively work on issue resolution

Work independently when needed

Communicate effectively with staff, key leaders, and other departments

Experience Required :

7+ years of experience in creating and managing VPCs, subnets, route tables, Network ACLs, Security Groups, and DNS Services

Proficient in managing DNS services, traffic flow, and health checks

Ability to design and manage hub-and-spoke network topologies for multi-VPC and hybrid connectivity

Experience with AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation

Experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins

Proficient with Linux system commands and processes

Experience with Ansible for configuration management

Experience with Kubernetes and container management

Strong scripting skills in Linux shell scripting

Experience with monitoring tools, AWS metrics, and threshold configuration

Knowledge of log analysis using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace

Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket and Git

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
