CLERK-RECORDER
The Clerk-Recorder Department is responsible for issuing, handling, and safeguarding a variety of public records, including property records, marriage licenses, and birth and death certificates. They are also in charge of overseeing the Orange County Archives, which is the main repository for historical property documents and vital records. THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Information Technologist performs advanced professional duties pertaining to the analysis, maintenance and administration of computer hardware and software systems to meet business needs of the Clerk-Recorder Department. Duties emphasize advanced system administration, maintenance and problem analysis / resolution within client-server environments. Work is often broad in scope and may encompass multiple information technology specialties, such as Application Development, Network, Database or Security.
As the Senior Information Technologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following :
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Three years of SQL Server experience. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution related to the competencies and attributes required of the position is desired.
College level education or training directly related to the competencies and attributes required of the position may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience at the rate of three semester units = one month of experience, and one hour of training = one hour of experience. College level education or training beyond a bachelor's degree related to the competencies and attributes required of the position may be substituted for up to an additional year of required experience at the same rate.
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess extensive professional knowledge and experience in the following core competencies :
