Akkodis is seeking an IAM Security Engineer with strong handson experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ, Java, AWS, and Active Directory for a Contract role onsite in Irvine, CA. This role is responsible for backlog management, code development, workflow enhancements, debugging, deployment support, and ongoing optimization of IdentityIQ functionality in partnership with client engineering teams.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IAM Security Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Working directly with client engineering teams on daytoday SailPoint IdentityIQ tasks
• Managing and executing backlog items from JIRA, addressing feature requests, enhancements, and fixes
• Writing, debugging, and updating Java code for IdentityIQ rules, workflows, connectors, and integrations
• Supporting release management activities including tagging, preparing builds, and ensuring stable deployments
• Participating in code reviews and collaborating with inhouse engineers for knowledge transfer and adherence to standards
• Modifying existing workflows, connectors, and custom rules within the IdentityIQ environment
• Conducting postdeployment support for bug fixes and issue resolution
• Validating functionality, improving performance, and enabling new IIQ features as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IAM, Security Engineering, or Identity Governance
• Strong handson experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (customizations, workflows, rules, connectors)
• Experience in Java development, debugging, and API integrations
• Familiarity with cloud onboarding, AWS services, and IAM workflows
• Understanding of identity validation, authentication, and authorization principles
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in complex engineering environments

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
