Description
The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider according to established policies and procedures.
Performs activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort and safety of patients and their families. Responsibilities include clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Other : Graduate of Medical Assistant program. (Required)
Experience
1 year experience as an Outpatient / Ambulatory Medical Assistant (Preferred)
General experience with EPIC EMR (Preferred)
License / Certifications
CCMA - Cert Clin Medical Assistant (Required) or CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Required) or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
