Job Title : IT Field Technician
Location : Tulsa, OK (Onsite with occasional travel)
Pay Range : $45,000 - $55,000 / year depending on experience

Position Overview :
As part of a trusted local MSP, the IT Field Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional onsite support to our clients, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving a range of IT issues. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy problem-solver who enjoys interacting with clients and working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide onsite technical support to clients for a variety of IT systems, including desktops, laptops, networks, servers, and software applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular system checks and maintenance tasks to prevent technical issues and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client environments, configurations, and support requests.
- Act as a point of contact for client support, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support larger-scale IT projects and upgrades.
- Educate and guide clients on best practices for IT security and system usage.
Requirements :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in an IT support or field technician role, ideally within an MSP environment.Proficiency in Windows OS , Microsoft Office Suite , and network troubleshooting .Experience with network configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent).Basic knowledge of server administration and virtualization technologies.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to document work accurately.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client site visits.Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ , Network+ , Security+ , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) .Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google Workspace.Application :
