Highlands Ranch Water is looking for a motivated Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join our team and help operate the advanced systems that keep our water and wastewater operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks to include but not limited to calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and equipment used in the collection, transportation, storage and processing of water and wastewater. Introductory programming of computerized process control equipment such as PLCs and SCADA system devices. Maintain integrity of the SCADA system, in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Supervisors.

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday between 8 : 00 a.m. and 4 : 30 p.m. The work schedule may vary based on weather conditions, projects, events, programs, meetings and staffing levels, and will include some evening, early morning, weekend, and overtime hours. This position is part of a 24-hour on-call rotation. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Work Environment
The work environment may include outside weather conditions, exposure to wet and / or humid conditions, proximity to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, traffic, and chemicals. Work may occur in hazardous environments (loud noises, confined spaces, electrical, infectious and mechanical hazards).
Selection Guidelines
