Job Description

Duties
- Monitors all SEFC facilities, including the pool, aerobic room, weight room, and cardio room, to ensure safe training practices by SEFC members.
- Monitors overall maintenance and repair conditions of facilities and equipment and makes recommendations to Fitness Center Manager.
- Educates members on the proper use of all equipment in the SEFC.
- Sets up new members on basic exercise program based upon individual goals, fitness background, health history, and fitness level.
- Ensures that all member adhere to SEFC policy stated established by SEFC management and BPHC administration.
- Ensures that all SEFC members present valid ID or membership card.
- Enters and records all membership transactions per established protocol.
- Performs data entry as required.
- Reconciles daily receipts per established procedures.
- Addresses and resolves customer questions and inquiries, refers them to SEFC management as appropriate.
- Maintains cleanliness of fitness center including cardiovascular equipment, resistance equipment, and all rooms.
- Reports all issues to SEFC management.
- Opens and closes the SEFC per established procedures.
- Organizes, promotes and conducts fitness classes for members on a frequent basis.
- Performs other duties as required.
