Aerospace Global Market Segment Manager - Remote

United States of America

Are you an experienced aerospace sales professional looking to take your career to new heights? PPG Aerospace is looking to add a passionate and driven sales professional to join our team as the Global Aerospace Market Segment Manager . As the Aerospace Global Market Segment Manager you will drive Global business and customer engagement across at least one Dexmet Market or Customer segment, including Lightning Strike Protection, Power Technologies, and Industrial / Automotive Technologies.

This is a remote sales role that comes with up to 50% travel. You will report to the Senior Sales Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive mutual growth within each customer to achieve sustainable sales and margin-to-budget.
  • Develop and deliver customer-specific value propositions to grow existing accounts and capture new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing / Operations to ensure product manufacturing meets customer expectations.
  • Understand customer business growth agendas and focus areas to deliver top-line revenue and gross margin.
  • Attain new business through lead generation, prospect qualifying, and closing.
  • Manage contracts and proactively sell product innovation while ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage opportunity sales funnels.

Qualifications :

  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Engineering, Management or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in Sales and Marketing, specifically with Engineering, and / or Manufacturing Management, or Aviation technical sales
  • Technical knowledge and the ability to communicate technical information to various audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
