Overview
Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is in search of applicants with a strong configuration background who are interested in satisfying a requirement to support an Army Acquisition Product Manager's Configuration Management Team. Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish and control functional, allocated, and product baselines
- Analyze proposed engineering changes of functional, allocated, and product baselines to determine potential impacts and effects on product and system
- Coordinate modification records for management control
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
- Ensure that customer requirements are implemented and review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
- Manage data inputs into product data management tools and configuration trace systems to ensure configuration and revision control integrity of technical baselines
- Validate and verify configuration status accounting process to ensure key data is captured; provide guidance / direction for proper data entry and creation of configuration trace structure and open item creation and closures
- Ensure the integrity of product traceability and data management throughout its entire lifecycle
- Preserve and organize data for the Product Manager's product lines, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for each program
- Maintain data management plans and submittals in accordance with various contracts using the Government's tools
- Assist in automating data collection activities and work with the Product Teams to store and retrieve data points
- Support configuration and data management audits and reviews
- Document and manage delivery of all required contract data
- Participate in proposal process; interpret statement of work and proposal documents to identify CM requirements
- Perform configuration management activities per the project's defined policies, processes, and procedures
- Perform configuration activities for configuration identification, configuration status accounting, and configuration control, utilizing the Government's tools
- Review and release documents and hardware drawings in preparation for a Level 2 Technical Data Package (TDP) delivery
- Perform change control and audits of configured items; analyze audit findings; and report CM status for multiple projects
- Identify training needs and initiate process training for the team when necessary
- Responsible for writing documentation for the CM tools including the Software Configuration Management Plan
- Reviewing drawing / document / software trees
- Preparing and conducting peer reviews
- Updating CM records in the Data and Configuration Item List (DCIL)
- Writing change requests
- Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) management and other CM duties as required
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of Government standards for data security such as markings, handling of classified and unclassified information, and how to handle the distribution of this informationDevelop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP)Perform Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)Software Configuration ManagementExperience in CM Tools (e.g., PTC Windchill, SharePoint, TopVue, etc.)Hardware CM ExperienceExperience with military products and servicesExperience working with United States Government (USG) customersUnderstanding of Data Management process and relationship to CDRLs and Data RightsInterprets engineering changes and understands Change Control Board processKnowledge of how to dialogue with USG for successful outcomesSolid knowledge of CM processesPrevious experience using and / or implementing a Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) toolConfiguration management experience performing tasks for hardware or software projects requiring process control such as DO-178 and / or DO-254Possess excellent organization and verbal and written communication skillsEducation And Experience Requirements
