Cash Application Specialist
A respected organization in the financial operations space is seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join its high-performing accounts receivable team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys solving payment discrepancies, and values autonomy in managing daily workflows.
What You'll Be Doing
Accurately post payments from multiple channels including ACH, wire transfers, credit cards, and refunds.
Resolve unapplied cash and exceptions within tight turnaround times.
Reconcile bank deposits and system postings to ensure financial accuracy.
Investigate payment issues, process refunds, and handle small balance adjustments.
Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve unidentified payments.
Maintain compliance logs and support audit readiness.
Contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Financial & Operations platforms is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables and Macros).
Experience with ticketing or case management systems.
Associate degree preferred but not required.
Pay Details : $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
