Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Super Micro Computer, Inc., a pioneer in high-efficiency, high-performance server technology, seeks a seasoned Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role concentrates on refining our server production processes, optimizing our design for manufacturability, and ensuring that our manufacturing practices sustain our leadership in green computing solutions. As a key part of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in aligning our manufacturing processes with the innovative spirit that defines our market presence in data centers, cloud computing, and more. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities. Collaborate with design engineering and R&D to integrate new products or changes to the manufacturing process. Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and develop practical solutions. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste. Assist in designing and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling. Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Liaise with vendors, process engineering, and production teams to coordinate manufacturing activities. Monitor and report on key production metrics and improve processes accordingly. Strong expertise in CAD software and MS Office. Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
