Latitude is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a full-time engagement opportunity with a large non-profit healthcare network located in southern California. Applicants should have 3+ years of litigation experience, including reading pleadings, reporting on malpractice claims, and coordinating depositions with physicians and attorneys. Prior in-house healthcare experience is preferred but not required. This position will start as in-office, 2-month engagement with potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Requirements for the In-House Healthcare Litigation Paralegal :

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Prior in-house healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree and / or paralegal certificate
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work product
• Ability to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the organization and outside counsel
• Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
