Job descriptionAbility to troubleshoot molds (in and outside of the press) Ability to accurately evaluate mold repairs or changes. Ability to delegate work as well as train Tool Room Lead and Mold Maintenance Technicians. Successful completion of forklift training. Mold building experience is preferred or 8+ years of mold maintenance / repairs High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. Must have good problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs. Must have own precision tools. Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours. Prior forklift experience preferred. Ability to work non-standard hours including weekend shifts. Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance.
Job Description :
We are hiring a Tooling Specialist to be responsible for Toolroom repair projects, mold evaluations, assist with the coordination of outsourced mold repairs and continuous improvement of tooling.
What You Will Do :
- Ability to do Mold Evaluations and be able to recommend mold rebuilds (done at mold cycle schedule)
- Ability to accurately evaluate and execute mold repairs or changes.
- Ability to evaluate and check in new molds from outside vendors.
- Identify and communicate any possible tooling improvements.
- Ability to delegate work as well as train Tool Room Lead and Mold Maintenance Technicians.
- Ability to work overtime based on production needs.
- Adhere to production and quality standards.
