THE ROLE :

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and action-oriented General Manager to lead the entire team and oversee all aspects of operations for the company with particular emphasis on our sales, marketing, and business development efforts.

We are seeking someone with a proven track record of success and experience in leading an organization through growth.

The successful candidate will have a leadership style that is firm and goal-oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way.

As the leader of the company, this individual must be able to build rapport and relationships with poise and persuasive communication.

The General Manager will be responsible for achieving positive results which are aligned with the larger picture of the equity owner and its' strategic goals.

Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results and learn quickly despite changing conditions is key to achieving the performance objectives of the position.

The role requires innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response.

While the role requires the ability to act independently, a sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges with a full commitment to the success of the business and high standards of achievement are expected in this position.

The emphasis is on results, and effective systems that achieve results through and with people, rather than on the details of implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Leadership of all team members, and all aspects of the business
• Development and implementation of the company's vision and mission
• Diversify the customer base through development of new customers and organic growth with existing customer base
• Build and improve processes to boost organizational effectiveness
• Full P&L responsibility, establishing and maintaining the operating plan and associated budgets
• Establishing, implementing, and communicating the strategic direction of the organization's operations
• Effective management and oversight of production and operating metrics, company goals and KPI's and related reporting for Corporate
• Maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Identifying, recommending, and implementing new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational goal attainment preferably within a precision machine shop or relevant industries
• Demonstrated record of success in driving organizational change and process improvement
• Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented and fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to think outside the box, champion important projects, systems, and business initiatives with high energy and ingenuity
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Possess strong business acumen
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree, additionally an MBA or MS preferred
• 5+ years of operations experience
• 7+ years in a management position leading a staff of employees
