WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in New York, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in New York, NY.

Job Function : \n

  • Day Shift.

    • \n

  • 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm.

    • \n

  • Performs MRI imaging procedures.

    • \n

  • Operates and / or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures.

    • \n

  • Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique.

    • \n

  • Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.

    • \n

  • Schedules exams into IDX (Radiology Information System) as required & ensures that all studies performed are completed in IDX in a timely fashion.

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.

    • \n

  • MUST have AART Certification or ARMRIT Certification.

    • \n

  • Minimum Education / Graduate of an AMA / J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.

    • \n

  • NY State IV Certification.

    • \n

  • BLS Certification.

    • \n

  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
