RiseBoro is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and strategic Vice President of Development (VP) to help shape, launch, and guide a strong and effective development program. This is an opportunity for a resourceful fundraiser and leader who enjoys building sustainable systems, engaging people, and achieving meaningful results.

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the senior leadership team, the VP will drive the strategy, culture, and infrastructure to secure RiseBoro’s long-term philanthropic future. Partnering with the CEO, Board, and fundraising counsel, this leader will inspire stakeholders to invest in RiseBoro’s mission and unlock new levels of impact for communities across New York City.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Partner with the CEO, senior leadership, and program teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.
• Champion a culture of philanthropy across the organization, engaging staff and Board members in fundraising efforts.
• Guide and support Board members to be effective fundraising partners and establish a mid-to-long-term strategy to grow the Board.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS : $200,000 – $229,000 commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
