Now Hiring : Metal Raker (Entry Position for Operator-Repair)

Location :  Conway, SC

Pay :   $17 / hour starting out,  $19.87  when hired on,  $20.86  in 6 months,  $22.95  in 1 year

⏱  Schedule :  Rotating 12-hour Swing Shift

2 weeks : 7 AM–7 PM → 2 weeks : 7 PM–7 AM (Repeat)

Position Overview :

Join a fast-paced manufacturing team supporting the casting of amorphous metal. This hands-on role starts with Raking Metal  and progresses through training in Winding , Quality Control , and finally,  Casting .

Key Responsibilities :

• Rake metal onto a conveyor belt
• Stage, load, and charge raw materials into melting furnace using crane / forklift
• Monitor, deslag, and sample molten metal
• Initiate pouring and back-pouring of metal
• Perform furnace rebuilds & emergency maintenance (jackhammer, confined space, heights)
• General cleanup and equipment maintenance

Job Requirements :

✅  Safety-first mindset & PPE compliance

✅  High school diploma / GED

✅  Industrial / mechanical experience

✅ Able to lift 50–100 lbs with assistance

✅ Comfortable working in heat may be up to 15 degrees hotter than outside

✅ Clean-shaven (required for respirator use)

✅ Basic computer / data entry skills

✅ Preferred : Crane use, micrometers, and feeler gauges experience

✅ Must pass  Drug Screen  &  Background Check
