Forecasting & Account Support Specialist

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Forecasting & Account Support Specialist to join our team supporting Vistar, a key distributor partner based in Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in data-driven environments, enjoys building relationships, and can manage both forecasting and administrative responsibilities with precision. You'll be the face of multiple CPG manufacturers, ensuring their business runs smoothly through accurate forecasting and exceptional service.

Location : Remote but must be local to Denver, CO

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

Travel Requirements : 15% - Regional travel, client sales meetings

Experience supporting or working with Vistar highly desired

What You'll Do at C.A. Carlin

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for multiple CPG brands sold through Vistar.
  • Collaborate with Vistar's purchasing and planning teams to align forecasts with inventory and promotional strategies.
  • Analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market dynamics to inform forecasting decisions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between CPG manufacturers and Vistar, representing brand interests professionally and proactively.
  • Manage administrative tasks including reporting, item setup, pricing updates, and promotional tracking.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in forecast accuracy and service levels.
  • Support new item launches and promotional planning through data analysis and coordination.
  • Build strong relationships with internal broker teams, manufacturer partners, and Vistar contacts.

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
  • 24 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or account support, preferably in a broker or CPG manufacturer environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and forecasting tools; experience with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area.
