We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Information Technology team based out of our Gaston, SC facility. The ideal candidate for the Alpek Polyester  IT Architect position will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a results-oriented mindset, and in-depth knowledge of the technical skills required to perform the role effectively  Responsibilities The IT Architect   will be reportable to the Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure Director and have responsibilities for the following tasks :

System Administration :

• Install, configure, and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Manage system updates, patches, user accounts, and security configurations.
• Monitor system performance and perform root cause analysis for operational issues.
• Maintain documentation for system builds, configurations, and procedures.
