The Marketing Specialist will take the lead in proposal writing in collaboration with Marketing teammates and leadership, and will be responsible for creating and updating marketing materials, such as resumes, presentations, and collateral, while ensuring alignment with our brand standards.

At Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS), a subsidiary of CannonDesign, the role focuses on developing marketing materials, supporting pursuits, and contributing to the firms market presence.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of proposal materials, coordinating and producing deliverables across all stages of the process.

Collaborate with Marketing teammates and leadership to develop pursuit strategiesfrom client engagement through proposal and interviewto secure wins.

Create and update resumes, portfolio pages, presentations and related marketing materials using design templates and brand standards.

Participate in the development of collateral that supports our markets, offices, and services.

Provide marketing research to inform overall market / office strategy and client pursuits.

Lead local / regional marketing activities such as sponsorships, award submissions, events, and photography to increase brand visibility.

Develop strong knowledge of the firms portfolio, personnel, and offerings; build subject matter expertise to enhance marketing initiatives.

Maintain and update Salesforce for clients and pursuits; manage a proposal filing system; review own and peers content for accuracy and quality.

Participate in external marketing activities as needed and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of related work experience in marketing or communications, preferably for a professional services firm.

Experience in Architecture, Engineering, and / or Construction industry preferred.

Proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented with enthusiasm for innovation.

Strong time and project management skills in a deadline-driven environment.

Solid skills in strategic thinking, writing, and design with potential to excel in at least one area.

Proficiency with InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Deltek CRM Vision, Salesforce, and Miro is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position in Buffalo, NY is $54,720 to $68,400 annually. We offer a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, voluntary insurances, paid time off, flex-time summer hours, remote work options, and a 401k plan with employee perk programs.
