This position is located in Gainesville Florida.

Open a new chapter of inspired care as a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologist at UF Health Shands Hospital, a nationally recognized, 1,162-bed academic medical center located in beautiful Gainesville, Florida.

Performs MRI procedures for diagnosis and treatment. This full-time role will allow you to work closely with our lead technologists and staff physicians to advance your competencies and gain valuable clinical experience.

You’ll train in all aspects of neurodiagnostic procedures and will be able to perform advanced procedures, including neonatal EEG, EP, ICU-LTM, GRIDS, WADA, NCV and EMG, as you continue to build other skills and experience.

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. You must reliably perform tasks, work with limited direction and assume a leadership role when needed.

Preferred candidates should have completed an accredited MRI program with advanced MRI certification or be registry-eligible for MRI certification.

At least one year of experience within a radiology or MRI department is also preferred. If you are not MRI-registered, you may be required to complete the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) "MRI Cross-Trainer," based on your level of experience.

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is a plus.
