Barrier Coatings Expert for Consumer Packaging Applications

Our client, based in Itasca, IL has retained our agency to search for an experienced Application Chemist, Engr or material scientist with experience with barrier coatings applications in the packaging industry. The position offers a highly competitive compensation package with relocation assistance as well.

Summary

This position will focus on developing and testing water-based barrier coatings for paper and film (Oil and grease resistance / moisture vapor resistance / oxygen transmission rate). As an applications technical expert, you’ll conduct on-time application testing, performance evaluation, data analysis and prepare technical reports of various products. Provides technical support including product recommendation, formulation support or troubleshooting for sales teams and customers. Works closely with new product development and customer support.
