Senior Production Lead, Global Creative Designer

Location : Los Angeles, CaliforniaJob Type : ContractCompensation Range : $70 - 75 per hourThe Global Creative Design team at a leading entertainment company is seeking a detail-driven Senior Production Lead to manage the full lifecycle of asset production across our global consumer products team.This role is responsible for file preparation, technical quality control (QC), asset readiness, and internal system management (asset libraries and digital asset management tools). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in production design and operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects at once. The team supports global, high-profile intellectual property (IP), creating consumer product assets for fans worldwide.Responsibilities : Lead production for core style guides (packaging, retail marketing) and supplemental asset packs (artist series, in-world, seasonal).Create final, technically correct, organized, and partner-ready consumer product creative assets in various print and digital formats.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file formats and conversions (e.g., RGB vs. CMYK, vector vs. rasterized, large format vs. web-optimized), ensuring creative delivery is smooth and on schedule.Manage uploads to partner-facing and internal resource asset libraries, ensuring naming, tagging, and version control are accurate and scalable.Partner with Operations to locate, manage, distribute, and archive assets across global teams.Oversee external vendors and freelancers, ensuring outsourced work meets the company's quality standards.Partner with cross-functional teams such as Licensing, Product Development, and Legal to ensure assets meet both creative and compliance requirements.Resolve production challenges, optimizing global processes and tools for various materials, licensing, manufacturing, and consumer product file needs.Develop, document, and implement best practices and technical guidelines to optimize production workflows, ensuring consistency and quality standards for all consumer products, including file preparation, asset delivery, and quality control.Work with our global offices to align with creative and project requirements. Qualifications : 7+ years of experience in production design, asset management, or creative operations within entertainment, consumer products, or licensing.Senior-level responsibility for file prep, technical QC, and production workflows at a fast-paced major studio, agency, or consumer brand.Exceptional technical skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Advanced understanding of file setup, color management, export settings, and repro processes.Knowledge of digital formats, web assets, and digital ad specifications (static and animated).Ability to manage high volumes of assets and multiple IP projects under tight deadlines.Skilled at identifying production gaps and developing scalable solutions.Meticulous attention to detail and a track record of delivering clean, production-ready files.Strong leadership and communication skills to provide feedback, enforce standards, and align cross-functional teams.Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, and internal contributors.Proactive, curious, self-sufficient, and solutions-focused mindset.History of building efficient systems.Passion for fandom and storytelling, with a drive to deliver flawless assets that bring global franchises to life.JOBID : 102025-112336#LI-CELLA#LI-MM2#PLEqual Opportunity Employer : Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
